Software Engineer Intern

Role Overview

This is a full-time remote role for an Artificial Intelligence Intern at Hanabi Technologies. The intern will be involved in day-to-day tasks related to computer science, data science, machine learning, and programming. Your primary work will be to work on the Hana platform, providing a chance to have a real impact in the AI domain with work being shipped directly to production.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in AI integrations, data analysis, and software development tasks.
• Building and optimizing RAG pipelines and response generation flows.
• Learning and using latest AI tooling such as Langchain, Langgraph, and OpenAI APIs.
• Building connectors and working on MCP support for Hana.
• Supporting consulting projects alongside core product development.

Requirements

• Strong Computer Science and Programming skills.
• Analytical Skills and Data Science knowledge.
• Experience or interest in Machine Learning and AI.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to work independently.
• JavaScript/TypeScript knowledge is a must.
• Knowledge of Python is a plus.
• Currently pursuing or recent graduate with a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• Must be available for a period of at least 6 months and full-time during normal office hours.
• Self-learner with a senior engineer attitude.
