Backend Developer Intern(Supabase)

Role Overview

Hancod is a fast-moving, innovation-driven startup building Duxbe, an AI-powered Point of Sale (POS) and ERP solution. We are looking for a passionate and committed Backend Developer Intern to join our core team. As an early member, you will contribute directly to the development and scaling of the backend infrastructure powering multiple product modules.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain robust relational data models for APIs and performance.
• Build scalable, secure APIs (REST/GraphQL) for mobile and web clients.
• Optimize slow endpoints and database queries using indexes, query plans, and caching.
• Implement complex ERP business workflows including orders, invoices, payments, and stock updates.
• Integrate AI services for natural-language commands and smart reports.
• Implement logging, monitoring, error tracking, and secure authentication.
• Ensure data correctness, consistency, and traceability across all modules.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• 0-1 years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience with Supabase or Firebase.
• Strong knowledge of SQL / PostgreSQL.
• Proficient in developing backend services using Node.js.
• Ability to write optimized, secure, and well-documented backend code.
• Must be able to commute or relocate to Malappuram, Kerala.
