Cybersecurity Governance Analyst & Enablement Intern

Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated Cybersecurity Governance Analyst & Enablement Intern to join our Information Security team. This is a full-time, 3-month remote internship (U.S.-based) focused on laying the groundwork for ISO 27001 certification and gaining hands-on exposure to enterprise security governance practices.

Responsibilities

• Supports foundation-building work for ISO 27001 certification.
• Performs risk assessments.
• Documents risk treatments and associated follow-up actions.
• Generates governance-related dashboards for executive leadership.
• Assists with security policy formulation and document management.
• Gathers security control evidence and associated records.
• Supports management and setup of the governance SaaS platform.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, IT, or a related field.
• Familiarity with basic security or risk-management concepts.
• Strong organizational skills for documentation and evidence tracking.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
