Backend Engineer (Fresher & Experienced)

Role Overview

Harmony United Medsolutions Pvt. Ltd. (HUMS) is looking for Backend Engineers (Freshers & Experienced) to develop secure, scalable, and high-performance backend systems for our healthcare applications. The ideal candidate should have strong programming fundamentals and a passion for building reliable server-side applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications, services, and RESTful APIs.
• Build scalable and secure APIs and microservices.
• Develop and optimize SQL/NoSQL databases, queries, schemas, and data access layers.
• Implement business logic and backend workflows for healthcare applications.
• Integrate third-party services, APIs, and payment gateways.
• Ensure backend applications meet requirements for security, performance, and scalability.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA, DevOps, and product teams.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application and production issues.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and code reviews.

Requirements

• For Freshers: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field with strong programming fundamentals.
• For Experienced: 2–6 years of hands-on backend development experience.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and REST APIs.
• Knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts.
• Experience with Git and version control.
• Familiarity with Docker and cloud platforms is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
