QA Tester Intern

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic QA Tester Intern to join our engineering team at Havet AI Pvt. Ltd. In this role, you will assist in ensuring the high quality, performance, and reliability of our software applications. You will work closely with seasoned QA engineers and developers to write test cases, execute manual tests, and identify system bugs. This internship offers hands-on experience with modern testing methodologies, AI-driven tech stacks, and exposure to Agile software development lifecycles.

Responsibilities

• Analyze Requirements: Review system specifications and user stories to understand product functionality.
• Test Case Development: Assist in creating, updating, and organizing comprehensive manual test cases and test scenarios.
• Test Execution: Run functional, regression, smoke, and usability tests across web and mobile platforms.
• Defect Tracking: Identify, isolate, and log software defects using tracking tools like Jira.
• Bug Documentation: Write clear, step-by-step bug reports with screenshots, logs, and expected vs. actual results.
• Collaboration: Work side-by-side with developers to help reproduce bugs and verify code fixes.
• Automation Exposure: Learn and assist with basic automation scripting using frameworks like Selenium or Cypress if applicable.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or a recent graduate of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Basic understanding of software testing concepts, the SDLC, and STLC.
• Exceptional attention to detail with a knack for spotting inconsistencies and edge cases.
• Basic knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and databases (SQL).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to accurately document and report bugs.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt quickly within a fast-paced Agile/Scrum team environment.
