Role Overview
The Azure Support Administrator plays a crucial role in ensuring seamless operations and support within the organization. This position focuses on independently resolving technical issues, providing on-call support, and conducting thorough root cause analyses to enhance service reliability and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to quality standards and regulatory requirements by implementing Infrastructure as Code practices using Terraform and Azure.
- Provide on-call support for escalated issues, performing root cause analysis and troubleshooting using Azure Kubernetes and Windows Azure IaaS.
- Engage in value-adding activities such as updating the knowledge base, training new analysts, and coaching team members.
- Independently resolve support tickets within agreed SLAs utilizing IaC principles.
- Maintain high CSAT ratings through first-call resolution strategies and minimizing rejected resolutions.
Requirements
- Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Solid understanding of Windows Azure IaaS and PaaS services.
- Experience with Azure Kubernetes for container orchestration.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to perform root cause analysis.
- Familiarity with customer support best practices and ticketing systems.
