Test Specialist - Cloud ETL, DW Automation

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Quality Engineer with strong expertise in test automation, API testing, and cloud-based CI/CD practices. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring product quality through scalable automation frameworks, continuous integration pipelines, and collaboration within Agile teams in an enterprise setting.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for functional, integration, and regression testing
• Develop and execute API automation test suites to validate backend services and integrations
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Harness
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and product teams to ensure high-quality releases
• Perform end-to-end testing across distributed cloud-based systems
• Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely defect resolution
• Contribute to test strategy, planning, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure adherence to Agile best practices and actively participate in Scrum ceremonies

Requirements

• Strong experience in automation testing, including integration and regression testing
• Hands-on expertise in API testing and automation (REST, SOAP, Postman, Rest Assured, etc.)
• Working knowledge of CI/CD tools, preferably Harness
• Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies in an enterprise environment
• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (Java, Python, or JavaScript)
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of GCP products, especially Agentic / AI-driven product suites
• Experience with cloud-native testing and microservices architecture
• Exposure to modern DevOps practices and tools
• Understanding of performance and security testing concepts
