Software Engineering Intern

Role Overview

Are you passionate about writing clean code, building scalable backend systems, and automating manual workflows? We are a growing Healthcare Tech startup currently in an exciting phase of setting up our core operations. We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Software Engineering Intern to join our IT team to build systems from the ground up and make a real impact.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, efficient Python scripts to solve backend challenges, process data, and automate daily tasks.
• Actively use Git and GitHub to manage code, create branches, submit pull requests, and collaborate seamlessly with the team.
• Develop, test, and maintain APIs to ensure smooth communication between different software components.
• Write and execute Bash scripts to streamline server operations and technical workflows.
• Assist in setting up and managing internal workflows using Google Workspace and automation tools.

Requirements

• Final-year student or recent graduate with a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong foundational knowledge of Python programming.
• Solid hands-on experience with Git and GitHub.
• Good understanding of API fundamentals and testing.
• Comfortable navigating the terminal and writing basic Bash scripts.

Nice to Have

• Previous internship or academic projects demonstrating solid backend development.
• Exposure to cloud platforms and containerization (e.g., AWS, Docker).
• Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with no-code/low-code workflow automation tools like n8n or Zapier.
