Software Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a Software Engineer – Business Intelligence with 3–5 years of experience to support the migration of enterprise reports from Tableau to Amazon QuickSight. This role involves report development, testing, deployment, automation, and production support within a cloud-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, datasets, and reports using Amazon QuickSight.
• Migrate Tableau reports, calculations, and business logic to QuickSight.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and functions using PostgreSQL.
• Validate report data and reconcile outputs between source systems and AWS services.
• Work with AWS services including S3, Glue, Athena, IAM, and Amazon RDS.
• Contribute to CI/CD and automation using GitHub Actions, Python, and AWS CLI.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in an Agile environment and troubleshoot production issues.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in Business Intelligence, reporting, or data engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases like PostgreSQL.
• Proven experience with Amazon QuickSight and Tableau.
• Solid understanding of data modelling, joins, aggregations, and dashboard design.
• Familiarity with Git-based version control and Agile methodologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.

Nice to Have

• Experience with AWS Glue, Athena, S3, and Amazon RDS.
• Knowledge of Python, CI/CD pipelines, and REST APIs.
• Experience in healthcare domains involving HIPAA and PHI data privacy.
