PHP Web Developer

Role Overview

Promotion Paradise is looking for a skilled and passionate PHP & Laravel Web Developer to build, maintain, and optimize the web applications that power our promotional and marketing campaigns. You will play a crucial role in developing both front-end and back-end logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the user interface.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code using PHP and the Laravel framework.
• Design and implement new features and functionality for existing and new web applications.
• Design, optimize, and manage scalable databases primarily using MySQL.
• Integrate various third-party services, APIs, and micro services.
• Perform unit and integration testing to ensure code reliability and application stability.
• Work closely with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and security.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in PHP and object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
• Extensive hands-on experience with the Laravel framework.
• Solid understanding of relational databases and strong experience with MySQL.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency with Git and GitHub/GitLab.
• Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks like Vue.js, React, or Angular.
• Experience with deployment, containerization, and cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
