Job Description
Role Overview
As a Software Engineer II, you will be a key contributor to the software development and implementation of software applications for large-scale distributed architecture-based software products. You will focus on new development as well as supporting existing products, working under minimal direction to design and develop solutions that meet defined system requirements across all phases of the SDLC.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to all phases of the SDLC from design to deployment.
- Design and develop software applications communicating with devices such as Meters and Sensors.
- Implement data historization and visualization in User Interfaces.
- Perform code reviews and guide peers on coding and design standards.
- Develop control logic for BESS systems (PCS & BMS).
Requirements
- 4+ years of strong experience in software application development with C# .Net.
- Proven experience in Windows desktop software application development (not web technology).
- Strong practical experience in Object Oriented Programming (OOP), Data Structures, and Object Oriented Design.
- Ability to design using SOLID principles.
- Experience in coding, debugging, and unit testing.
Nice to Have
- Electrical - power system domain knowledge.
- Simulation knowledge on PSCAD, RTDS, PSSE, or Matlab.
