Job Description
Role Overview
Houseit is looking for a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Designer who can design clean, modern and user-friendly digital experiences. The ideal candidate should understand both user experience and visual design and be able to convert business requirements into intuitive and engaging interfaces.
Responsibilities
- Design intuitive and visually appealing websites, landing pages and mobile applications.
- Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity UI designs.
- Understand user requirements and translate them into effective design solutions.
- Conduct basic user research and analyze user behaviour to identify improvements.
- Create responsive designs for desktop, tablet and mobile.
- Collaborate with developers, marketing teams and management to ensure accurate implementation.
- Maintain consistency in typography, colours, layouts, components and overall brand identity.
- Review existing digital products and identify UI/UX improvements.
- Create and maintain design systems and reusable UI components.
- Convert concepts and ideas into polished visual designs.
- Stay updated with current UI/UX trends, design practices and digital experiences.
- Take ownership of projects from concept → design → prototype → developer handoff.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Figma.
- Understanding of UX principles, user journeys and information architecture.
- Ability to create wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity designs.
- Strong understanding of responsive and mobile-first design.
- Good knowledge of typography, spacing, colours and visual hierarchy.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to understand business requirements and solve design problems creatively.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Should have their own laptop.
