Role Overview
Join HSBC, one of the largest banking and financial services organisations in the world, as a Software Engineer. In this role, you will perform service management for IBM FileNet, Captiva, and in-house products like CCS, ensuring service resilience and managing end-to-end project deliveries while aligning with organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Perform service management for IBM FileNet, Captiva, and in-house products.
- Connect with internal and external stakeholders to manage services and software updates.
- Manage end-to-end project deliveries and resolve technical issues.
- Apply strategic thinking to ensure projects align with organizational goals and business impacts.
- Manage various controls within Software Development and Deployment cycles.
- Support IT services and document business processes and software requirements.
- Participate in code build, review, requirement gathering, analysis, testing, and production support.
Requirements
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering or service management.
- Proven experience with IBM FileNet and Captiva.
- Strong technical knowledge of Java and Linux/UNIX.
- Proficiency with ServiceNow and application monitoring tools like Splunk and AppDynamics.
- Experience with Agile tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
