Full Stack AI Engineer

Role Overview

WebMD Health Corp. is seeking a Full Stack AI Engineer to lead the research, design, and implementation of scalable Agentic AI integrations. This role involves evaluating emerging models, building proofs-of-concept, and providing technical leadership to integrate AI-driven innovation into existing business processes and software architectures.

Responsibilities

• Research and experiment with emerging AI models like OpenAI GPT, Anthropic Claude, and Google Gemini.
• Design and implement scalable Agentic AI integrations ensuring reliability and data privacy.
• Build proofs-of-concept and pilot features involving prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and multi-agent orchestration.
• Mentor engineers on AI best practices and lead architecture reviews.
• Track industry trends in Vector DBs, Agent Observability, and RAG.

Requirements

• 10+ years in software engineering with deep fluency in modern full-stack web application architecture.
• 1+ years of hands-on experience with frontier LLMs and building AI agents.
• Strong proficiency in Python or TypeScript.
• Deep understanding of API design, microservices, relational and NoSQL databases, and security best practices.
• Working knowledge of AI Agent architecture, prompt engineering, and RAG.
• Experience with AI-enhanced workflows and tools like Cursor or Replit.
