Role Overview
We are looking for a Core Infrastructure Engineer specializing in AWS EKS to build scale and secure Kubernetes platforms for enterprise workloads. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in infrastructure engineering with a focus on Kubernetes platform build, networking, and automation. Given evolving market skill scarcity, the role emphasizes strong core infrastructure fundamentals with EKS platform build capability supported by automation and AWS expertise.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and manage AWS EKS clusters for production-grade environments
- Design and implement cluster networking including VPC CNI, ingress, egress, and service mesh
- Implement multi-plugin storage architecture including EBS, EFS, and CSI based solutions
- Design and implement Kubernetes multi-tenancy models
- Design and enforce EKS security hardening standards including IAM, IRSA, RBAC, and zero trust principles
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform
- Implement GitOps based deployments using Argo CD
- Collaborate with platform, DevOps, and SRE teams for scalable and resilient architecture
- Ensure observability, reliability, and performance of the platform
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in AWS EKS cluster build and lifecycle management
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes architecture and components
- Solid experience in AWS infrastructure including VPC, IAM, EC2, and Load Balancers
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes networking and storage integration
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Hands-on exposure to Argo CD and GitOps frameworks
- Advanced EKS security hardening practices
- Experience with Kubernetes multi-tenancy models
