Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled PHP and MongoDB developer to build and scale modular, maintainable backend systems. You will be responsible for designing complex NoSQL schemas and developing secure RESTful APIs to support high-performance applications.
Responsibilities
- Build and scale modular, maintainable backend systems using modern PHP.
- Design complex NoSQL document schemas, collections, and aggregation pipelines.
- Develop and integrate secure RESTful APIs and JSON data handlers.
- Optimize slow queries, implement proper indexing patterns, and manage database cursors.
- Connect PHP applications to data environments using official MongoDB PHP extensions.
- Write unit tests via PHPUnit and implement web security best practices.
- Partner with frontend developers to map UI structures to database models.
Requirements
- Proven experience in backend development with a focus on PHP.
- Strong understanding of NoSQL database design and MongoDB.
- Experience with RESTful API architecture.
- Ability to work in person.
