QA Analyst II

Role Overview

As a key member of the Customer Success Engineering (CSE) QA team, you will ensure the quality, reliability, and stability of customer-facing and internal web applications. You will drive end-to-end functional testing, contribute to cloud release management in collaboration with the SRE team, and expand automated test coverage using Playwright within the financial sector at ICE.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end functional testing for cloud-based applications, including functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing.
• Collaborate with SRE teams to support cloud release management, deployment validation, and release readiness sign-offs.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Playwright to reduce manual regression effort.
• Translate business requirements into comprehensive test plans and scenarios aligned with Agile sprint cadences.
• Identify, log, and triage defects with root cause analysis, working directly with developers for resolution.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives to surface quality risks early.
• Research emerging QA trends and tooling to improve team processes and quality metrics.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 4+ years of functional QA experience testing cloud-based web applications in SaaS or enterprise environments.
• Experience working with SRE or DevOps teams on cloud release management and deployment validation.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright for UI and end-to-end test automation.
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum frameworks and modern QA methodologies.
• Experience with API testing (REST/SOAP) using tools like Postman.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Strong SQL skills for backend data validation.

Nice to Have

• Experience testing financial services, e-commerce, or identity and access management platforms.
• Knowledge of performance or load testing tools such as k6 or JMeter.
• Proficiency in Python or JavaScript/TypeScript for test scripting.
• Experience with GenAI testing.
