Role Overview
Invitronics MedTech is looking for a UI/UX Designer to design intuitive, user-friendly interfaces for our range of medical devices and healthcare products. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in UI/UX design, Figma, user flows, wireframing, prototyping, and be production-ready with a strong understanding of usability and product design. Medical device / healthcare experience is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design UI/UX for medical devices and healthcare products.
- Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity UI designs.
- Develop consistent design systems, components, icons, typography and visual guidelines.
- Design touchscreen and interactive interfaces for medical equipment.
- Focus on usability, readability, accessibility and clear information hierarchy.
- Design different interaction states including normal, warning, alarm, error, confirmation and recovery states.
- Understand user requirements and convert them into practical product interfaces.
- Work closely with biomedical, firmware, hardware, mechanical and product teams.
- Collaborate with engineers to ensure designs can be implemented effectively on actual devices.
- Review and improve designs based on prototype and user testing.
- Maintain design documentation and specifications for development.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of relevant UI/UX experience.
- Strong proficiency in Figma.
- Experience with wireframing, user flows, prototyping, and high-fidelity UI design.
- Experience with design systems and interaction design.
- Experience with usability testing.
- Strong understanding of typography, layout, color, spacing and visual hierarchy.
- Experience designing touchscreen or interactive interfaces.
- Ability to work closely with engineering and product-development teams.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Good portfolio demonstrating real-world UI/UX projects.
- Bachelor's degree in UI/UX Design, Product Design, Interaction Design, HCI, Computer Science, or Engineering.

Nice to Have
- Previous experience in medical devices, healthcare, MedTech or medical software.
- Experience designing interfaces for patient monitors, diagnostic equipment, or imaging equipment.
- Understanding of medical-device usability and human factors.
- Knowledge of IEC 62366 / usability engineering.
- Experience working in an ISO 13485 environment.
- Experience with embedded or hardware-based UI.
- Familiarity with LVGL, TouchGFX or other embedded GUI frameworks.
