Apigee API Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Google Apigee API Developer with 3–7 years of experience in API Management and Google Apigee (Edge/X). The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in designing, developing, securing, and managing enterprise APIs while working with cloud-native technologies and microservices architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain API proxies using Google Apigee (Edge/X).
• Build and manage API Proxies, Shared Flows, Policies, API Products, and API Lifecycle Management.
• Develop secure and scalable REST APIs following OpenAPI/Swagger specifications.
• Implement API security using OAuth 2.0, JWT, API Keys, mTLS, and SAML.
• Develop custom policies and callouts using JavaScript and Node.js.
• Integrate APIs with Core Banking systems, CRM platforms, Payment Gateways, and third-party applications.
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and cloud teams for API deployment and monitoring.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Git and Jenkins.
• Monitor API performance, analytics, and troubleshoot production issues.
• Follow enterprise security and compliance standards.

Requirements

• 3–7 years of overall IT experience.
• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with Google Apigee (Edge/X).
• Strong expertise in API Management, API Proxy Development, REST APIs, OpenAPI/Swagger, Microservices Architecture, OAuth 2.0, JWT, and API Security.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with Git, Jenkins, CI/CD, GCP, and Kubernetes.
