Backend Developer

Role Overview

As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust server-side applications and APIs that power business-critical systems. You will build secure, scalable, and high-performance backend solutions while ensuring data integrity, application reliability, and seamless integration with frontend applications and third-party services.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Build scalable and secure server-side applications.
• Design and optimize database schemas and queries.
• Integrate external APIs and third-party services.
• Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Write unit and integration tests.
• Collaborate with frontend developers and DevOps teams.
• Participate in architecture and design discussions.
• Ensure application security and data integrity.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 3–6 years of backend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Python, Node.js, Go, or .NET.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Git and version control.
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, and API security.
