Power BI Developer – Healthcare

Role Overview

The Power BI Developer – Healthcare is responsible for supporting the development, maintenance, and delivery of Power BI reporting solutions across the organization. Working closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and the wider BI team, this role delivers accurate, reliable, and insightful reporting solutions, including supporting PowerON enabled solutions for write-back, planning, and forecasting use cases within a healthcare context.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models
• Use DAX and Power Query to transform and analyze datasets
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across reports
• Integrate Power BI with multiple data sources, including databases and cloud platforms
• Develop and support PowerON-enabled reporting solutions, including write-back capabilities and planning/forecasting functionality
• Follow established development standards, governance processes, and best practices
• Create and maintain documentation for reports, dashboards, data models, and PowerON implementations
• Support performance improvements for Power BI reports, datasets, and PowerON solutions
• Work with business stakeholders to gather and understand reporting and planning requirements

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• 2–4 years of experience in Power BI development or similar BI tools
• Experience building reports and dashboards using Power BI
• Working knowledge of DAX, Power Query, and data modeling
• Experience with SQL and basic data integration concepts
• Hands-on experience with PowerON for write-back, planning, or forecasting use cases

Nice to Have

• Experience working with healthcare data or regulated environments
• Exposure to cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure)
• Power BI certification
