QA Automation Tester

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Automation QA Engineer to join our team and ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our software applications. The candidate will be responsible for designing and executing automated test scripts, identifying defects, and working closely with developers to deliver high-quality products.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts.
• Create and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and API testing.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug-tracking tools.
• Analyze test results and provide detailed reports.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA team members to resolve issues.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning.
• Maintain and improve existing automation frameworks.
• Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing.
• Support CI/CD testing pipelines and ensure automated tests are integrated into the development process.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of relevant experience in Automation Testing.
• Good knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
• Programming knowledge in Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Knowledge of API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Experience with SQL and database testing.
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub/GitLab.
• Knowledge of Jenkins or other CI/CD tools is an advantage.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
