QA Engineer (Automation and Manual Testing)

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer with a strong background in both automation and manual testing, particularly using Selenium with Java or C#. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated and detail-oriented professional with a keen eye for identifying software defects and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products. This role supports a hybrid work model, offering flexibility to work both in the office and remotely.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium with Java or C# to ensure the quality and reliability of web applications.
• Conduct thorough manual testing, including functional, regression, and exploratory testing, to identify defects and verify software functionality.
• Create comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project requirements and design specifications.
• Leverage knowledge of Azure and Azure DevOps to integrate testing activities into the development and release pipeline.
• Document and track defects, working closely with developers and stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.
• Conduct performance and load testing as required to assess application scalability.
• Identify opportunities to improve testing processes and methodologies and contribute to a culture of quality excellence.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure early testing integration and work closely with cross-functional teams to drive product quality.
• Provide clear and concise test reports, highlighting test results, defects, and progress to project stakeholders.
• Maintain up-to-date test documentation, including test cases, test plans, and automation scripts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/MCA or a related field.
• 4 to 10 years of QA experience, with a strong focus on both manual and automation testing.
• Proficiency in test automation using Selenium with Java or C#.
• Experience with Playwright & TypeScript.
• Experience in API testing using Postman, REST Assured, Karate API automation tool, or using similar tools.
• Experience with GitHub.
• Strong knowledge of Azure and Azure DevOps for test management.
• Experience working with Agile teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
