Infrastructure Engineer III - Oracle HCM Payroll Techno-Functional

Role Overview

As an Infrastructure Engineer III at JPMorganChase within the Employee Platforms team, you will utilize strong knowledge of software, applications, and technical processes within the infrastructure engineering discipline. You will apply your technical knowledge and problem-solving methodologies across multiple applications of moderate scope at one of the world's most iconic financial institutions.

Responsibilities

• Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with the ability to build solutions or break down technical problems
• Create secure and high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems
• Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications, ensuring design constraints are met by software code development
• Gather, analyze, synthesize, and develop visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets to improve software applications and systems
• Uses enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to accelerate monitoring and capacity analysis and documentation
• Applies reuse-first, AI-assisted approaches to identify recurring capacity risks and improve remediation workflows
• Identify hidden problems and patterns in data to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture
• Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies

Requirements

• Formal training or certification on Infrastructure engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
• Strong knowledge of Oracle HCM - Payroll Techno-Functional
• Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g. cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, etc.)
• Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to support infrastructure engineering workflows
• Ability to review and validate AI-assisted recommendations before implementation
