Role Overview

As a Software Engineer II at JPMorganChase within the Employee Platform, you are part of an agile team that works to enhance, design, and deliver the software components of the firm's state-of-the-art technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You will execute software solutions through the design, development, and technical troubleshooting of multiple components while gaining the skills needed to advance your career.

Responsibilities

• Executes standard software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting.
• Designs, develops, codes, and troubleshoots with consideration of upstream and downstream systems.
• Applies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain, including enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development and automation.
• Leverages AI coding assist tools to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity.
• Gathers, analyzes, and draws conclusions from large, diverse data sets to identify problems.
• Learns and applies system processes and methodologies for the development of secure, stable code.
• Contributes to a team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with .NET and React or Angular tech stacks.
• Willingness to work primarily on .NET.
• Practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment.
• Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows and data sensitivity.
• Hands-on experience using AI-assisted software development tools.
• Exposure to agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
• Emerging knowledge of technical disciplines such as Cloud, Artificial Intelligence, or Machine Learning.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with modern front-end technologies.
• Exposure to Cloud technologies.
• Understanding or exposure to the Java tech stack.
