Role Overview

As a Software Engineer II at JPMorganChase within the Employee Platforms Team, you will join an agile team dedicated to enhancing, designing, and delivering secure, stable, and scalable software components. You will execute software solutions through design, development, and technical troubleshooting while growing your expertise within a state-of-the-art technology environment.

Responsibilities

• Executes standard software solution design, development, and technical troubleshooting.
• Writes secure, high-quality code using modern programming languages.
• Leverages enterprise-authorized AI coding assist tools to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity.
• Designs and troubleshoots with consideration of upstream and downstream systems.
• Applies SDLC toolchain knowledge and automation capabilities.
• Analyzes large, diverse data sets to identify problems and support decision-making.

Requirements

• Formal training or certification in software engineering with 2+ years of applied experience.
• Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Experience developing and debugging code in large corporate environments using modern programming and database languages.
• Proficiency in ETL and Database Testing.
• Proficiency in SQL and test data management.
• Practical experience with incentive compensation tools such as Callidus, Varicent, Xactly, or Oracle ICM.
• Experience across the full SDLC and exposure to Agile methodologies, CI/CD, and application resiliency.

Nice to Have

• Basic knowledge of AWS or other public cloud services.
• Familiarity with modern front-end technologies.
• Exposure to cloud technologies.
