Software Engineer III - AWS, Java/Python, Kubernetes, CI/CD

Role Overview

As a Software Engineer, you will apply your technical expertise to the full software development lifecycle, collaborating with stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions in an environment that values experimentation, continuous improvement, and global impact.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy high-quality software solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and deliver business value.
• Apply engineering best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient delivery.
• Develop and orchestrate containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Build and support micro-services architectures.
• Leverage enterprise-authorized AI coding assist tools to improve code quality and productivity.
• Write scripts in Bash and Python to automate tasks.
• Participate in Agile methodologies including Scrum and Test Driven Development.

Requirements

• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience with 3+ years of applied software engineering experience.
• Expertise in Java or Python with 5 years of experience and hands-on AWS Cloud experience.
• Experience deploying to and orchestrating containers using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines using Git, Artifactory, and Jenkins.
• Strong proficiency in core Java, J2EE, and Spring.
• Experience with micro-services and scripting in Bash and Python.
• Hands-on experience using AI-assisted software development tools.
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, TDD).

Nice to Have

• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) and/or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD).
• Experience with UNIX/LINUX.
