Job Description
Role Overview
As a Software Engineer II at JPMorganChase within the Trust & Security part of CCB LOB, you are part of an agile team that works to enhance, design, and deliver the software components of the firm's state-of-the-art technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You will execute software solutions through the design, development, and technical troubleshooting of multiple components within a technical product, application, or system.
Responsibilities
- Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches.
- Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems.
- Leverages enterprise-authorized AI coding assist tools to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity.
- Applies knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain, including automation capabilities.
- Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications.
- Gathers, analyzes, and develops visualizations from large, diverse data sets to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience.
- Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming languages and database querying languages.
- Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools.
- Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity and security.
- Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies, CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies.
- AWS Certification (e.g., Solutions Architect, Developer).
- Exposure to Cloud technologies.
