Software Engineer III

Role Overview

As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer & Community Banking - Data Technology, you are part of an agile team that works to enhance, design, and deliver the software components of the firm's state-of-the-art technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You will execute software solutions through the design, development, and technical troubleshooting of multiple components while gaining the skills needed to advance your career.

Responsibilities

• Executes standard software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting
• Writes secure and high-quality code using Python with limited guidance
• Designs, develops, codes, and troubleshoots with consideration of upstream and downstream systems
• Applies knowledge of SDLC toolchain to improve automation value
• Hands on code development to enable AI/ML platforms, ensuring robustness and scalability
• Adopt best practices in MLOps and data governance
• Maintain consistent code check-ins for continuous integration and development
• Execute Platform engineering to enable Gen AI platforms, LLM fine-tuning, and multi-agent orchestration
• Communicate technical concepts effectively across the organization

Requirements

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
• Extensive practical experience with Python and AWS cloud services (EKS, EMR, ECS, DynamoDB)
• Advanced knowledge in software engineering, AI/ML, MLOps, and data governance
• Real-time model serving experience with Seldon
