Backend Developer (Go) – SDE 3 - FinTech (Upto 80 LPA)

Role Overview

A fast-growing fintech startup building AI-powered compliance and risk infrastructure for global enterprises. We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer (Go) to join our engineering team as an SDE 3. You will design and build highly scalable backend systems that power mission-critical fintech and compliance products for enterprise customers worldwide, solving complex distributed systems problems and driving technical decisions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Go (Golang).
• Architect and build high-performance REST APIs and microservices.
• Develop distributed systems capable of handling high-volume enterprise workloads.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, AI, and Platform teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Design and optimise databases, caching strategies, and backend infrastructure.
• Build integrations with financial systems and enterprise platforms.
• Improve application performance, observability, monitoring, reliability, and security.
• Participate in architecture reviews and influence engineering best practices.
• Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical guidance.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested production code.

Requirements

• 4–7 years of backend software engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Go (Golang).
• Strong understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, and System Design.
• Experience designing scalable distributed systems.
• Strong experience building REST APIs and microservices.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar relational databases.
• Hands-on experience with Redis, Kafka, or RabbitMQ.
• Experience with Docker and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
