Flutter Intern

Role Overview

TrustRoute is building the next generation of trusted communication, combining secure messaging, voice & video calling, identity verification, and AI-powered trust mechanisms. As a Flutter App Developer Intern, you will work on a remote, 2-month internship building production features used by real users in an early-stage startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop new Flutter features for Android and iOS.
• Build beautiful, responsive, and reusable UI components.
• Integrate REST APIs and WebSocket-based real-time communication.
• Debug, optimize, and improve application performance.
• Work with Firebase services including Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Messaging, and Crashlytics.
• Collaborate with backend developers to deliver end-to-end features.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Help improve app stability, scalability, and user experience.

Requirements

• Good knowledge of Flutter and Dart.
• Understanding of state management (Provider, Riverpod, Bloc, or similar).
• Experience consuming REST APIs.
• Knowledge of Git and GitHub.
• Basic understanding of mobile application architecture.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to write clean and maintainable code.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Firebase.
• Knowledge of WebRTC or real-time communication.
• Experience with push notifications.
• Familiarity with Clean Architecture.
• Published Flutter projects or GitHub portfolio.
• Experience integrating third-party SDKs.
