Role Overview

Join Kasphyn to build a cutting-edge mobile experience for serious fitness enthusiasts. You will work on an EMG + IMU wearable device ecosystem that delivers real-time muscle activation data and AI-powered coaching through a high-performance mobile application.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain the React Native (Expo) mobile app, including screens, navigation, state management, and animations.
• Implement and debug Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) data streaming from custom hardware to the app.
• Work with real-time sensor data (EMG + IMU signals) involving parsing, filtering, and visualization.
• Integrate with the backend for authentication, real-time databases, and edge functions.
• Build data pipelines for the AI coaching layer.
• Fix bugs across the stack, including firmware-adjacent issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Ship features rapidly in a fast-paced prototyping environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience with React Native and TypeScript.
• Experience handling real-time data or hardware integration (BLE).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, prototype-driven environment.
• Strong debugging skills across mobile and firmware-adjacent layers.
