DevOps Engineer

Role Overview

Mid-level DevOps engineering role owning CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, and FinOps practices across Azure and AWS. Kaufman Rossin is actively migrating from AWS to Azure, and this individual will play a hands-on role in that transition while maintaining existing workloads. Security is embedded into every delivery step.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Azure DevOps YAML pipelines and GitHub Actions pipelines.
• Implement DevSecOps including SAST/DAST, dependency scanning, and container image scanning.
• Provision and manage infrastructure using Bicep and/or Terraform.
• Deploy and orchestrate containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).
• Manage existing AWS infrastructure including EC2, RDS, Lambda, and S3.
• Own FinOps practices including cost allocation, rightsizing, and monthly reporting.
• Implement security controls using Defender for Cloud and AWS Security Hub.
• Apply automation and scripting using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

Requirements

• 3–5 years hands-on DevOps / cloud engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Azure IaC (Bicep/Terraform) and AWS infrastructure.
• Experience with CI/CD, DevSecOps, and containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of FinOps and cloud cost management.
• Automation skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Strong Linux/Unix administration skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
