Role Overview
The M365 Developer role spans four Microsoft platform disciplines: SharePoint development, Power Apps, Power BI, and Azure DevOps. The ideal candidate is a versatile engineer capable of building production-grade intranet solutions, automating business workflows, delivering self-service analytics, and maintaining DevOps pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain SharePoint Online sites, portals, and intranet experiences including department hubs and document libraries.
- Develop custom solutions using SPFx (SharePoint Framework) web parts and extensions.
- Configure site architecture, including hub sites, managed metadata, and permissions hierarchies.
- Build integrated workflows and forms using Power Automate and Power Apps.
- Implement document management and collaboration using Microsoft Purview for retention and sensitivity labels.
- Design and build Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps to replace manual processes.
- Develop responsive apps connecting to SharePoint, Dataverse, SQL, and REST APIs.
- Implement complex business logic using Power Fx and custom connectors.
- Design and build Power BI reports and dashboards using DAX to deliver actionable business intelligence.
- Apply ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) practices using Azure DevOps pipelines.
Requirements
- Proven experience in SharePoint Online development and architecture.
- Expertise in Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
- Experience with SPFx and Power Fx.
- Ability to manage data within Dataverse and SQL environments.
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps for application lifecycle management.
