MIS Intern

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated MIS Intern to join our Operations & Technology team. The role offers hands-on experience in MIS reporting, Google Sheets, Excel workbooks, automation, dashboards, APIs, and AI tools while working on real hospitality business projects.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain MIS reports, dashboards, trackers, and Excel workbooks
• Work extensively with Google Sheets and Excel, including formulas, filters, pivot tables, data validation, and data management
• Manage and organize data across multiple Google Sheets and Excel workbooks
• Support workflow automation using Google Apps Script
• Assist in integrating and testing data from third-party systems, PMS, CRM, and APIs such as eZee
• Work with REST APIs, JSON, and webhooks
• Support simple data pipelines and reporting tools
• Assist in developing AI-powered features, summaries, chatbot workflows, and automation scripts
• Support internal and guest-facing tools/apps
• Check, clean, and validate data for accuracy and consistency
• Troubleshoot basic script/data issues and document work and learnings

Requirements

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of JavaScript
• Good knowledge of Google Sheets and Excel Workbooks
• Comfortable with Excel/Google Sheets formulas, filters, pivot tables, and data handling
• Familiarity with or willingness to learn Google Apps Script
• Basic understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and webhooks
• Basic understanding of databases and data structures
• Curiosity about AI tools such as ChatGPT/OpenAI
• Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn
• Final-year students or recent graduates in Computer Science, IT, Data/Business Analytics, or related fields

Nice to Have

• Exposure to hospitality technology or PMS systems such as eZee Absolute
• Familiarity with AppSheet
• Exposure to Zapier or Make
• Basic understanding of web apps/frontend concepts and UI/UX
