Role Overview
Kestra is looking for a QA Engineer based in India or Europe to ensure the quality and reliability of Kestra's platform across both the open source and Enterprise editions. You will act as a bridge between customer support and engineering by reproducing issues, verifying fixes, and maintaining high quality standards for a universal orchestration platform.
Responsibilities
- Review and analyze customer support tickets to extract reproduction steps and create actionable bug reports.
- Reproduce bugs across different environments and configurations.
- Design, write, and maintain test plans and test cases for open source and Enterprise features.
- Perform manual, exploratory, and regression testing across release cycles.
- Collaborate with engineers to define acceptance criteria and validate fixes.
- Contribute to building and improving automated test coverage.
- Track and report on quality metrics and recurring issue patterns.
Requirements
- Experience in software QA with a foundation in manual and automated testing.
- Ability to systematically reproduce issues from customer support tickets.
- Knowledge of Linux command line and environment management.
- Hands-on experience with Claude Code.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, or workflow automation.
- Comfortable working with APIs, reading logs, and navigating distributed systems.
- Experience writing automated tests in Java, Python, or TypeScript.
- Strong written English communication skills.
