AI & Data Engineering Intern

Role Overview

Kotak Institutional Equities’ Derivatives desk is among the top brokers for foreign institutional investors. Interns will have the opportunity to work on real-world, high-impact projects at the intersection of data, technology, AI and capital markets, while gaining exposure to an institutional trading environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop Python and AI based solutions to automate and digitize data-intensive workflows.
• Build low-latency pipelines to capture, process and analyze real-time structured and unstructured data.
• Apply AI and NLP techniques to extract actionable information from documents and text.
• Design reliable systems for data ingestion, validation, storage and real-time alerting.
• Coordinate with Trading, Data and Technology teams to deliver production-ready solutions.

Requirements

• Open to pre-final-year and final-year students from IITs, BITS and other leading engineering institutes.
• Three month or Six-month, in-office internship in BKC, Mumbai.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to write clean, efficient and production-quality code.
• High degree of ownership, curiosity and attention to detail.
