Job Description
Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer (CMM Operator & Calibration) to perform high-precision dimensional inspections on critical brake components and manage factory-wide instrument calibration processes.
Responsibilities
- Operate and handle Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to perform high-precision dimensional inspections on critical brake components.
- Manage the standard master calibration process for all factory instruments, gauges, and micrometres; maintain precise log tracking records.
- Conduct In-process and Final quality inspections of sheet metal and friction brake components based on mechanical drawings.
- Read and interpret complex engineering blueprints using Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) parameters.
- Generate, review, and archive daily QA dimension reports; log defects and coordinate with production to execute corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Requirements
- Proven experience in high-precision dimensional inspection.
- Ability to interpret complex engineering blueprints.
- Experience with quality audit processes and defect documentation.
