Role Overview
As an Electronics Hardware Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, and testing of electronic hardware components and systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to create innovative electronic solutions that meet product requirements and performance objectives.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop electronic circuits, components, and systems, including schematic capture and component selection.
- Design analogue and digital circuits for various applications, including power management, signal processing, and communication interfaces.
- Build prototypes of electronic hardware systems for evaluation and testing purposes, and conduct performance testing, troubleshooting, and debugging.
- Collaborate with software engineers, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate electronic hardware components into larger systems or products.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and certifications such as EMC/EMI compliance and safety standards.
- Prepare detailed design documentation, including schematics, Bill of Materials (BOM), design specifications, and test procedures.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and integrate new methodologies to improve design efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in electronics hardware design, development, and testing.
- Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design principles.
- Experience with micro-controller/microprocessor-based embedded systems development.
- Familiarity with communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, and Ethernet.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex hardware issues.
