Role Overview
We are looking for a QA Engineer with 1–2 years of experience to join the WoCoPa team and ensure quality across our backend microservices, web application, admin panel, and mobile app. You will work closely with our backend, frontend, and mobile developers to test features as they are built, identify issues early, and maintain a high standard of reliability across a fast-moving, multi-platform product.
Responsibilities
- Design, write, and execute manual and automated test cases for web (Next.js), mobile (Flutter), and backend (Node.js/microservices) applications.
- Perform API testing across REST endpoints and event-driven flows such as Kafka-based services.
- Test real-time features such as chat, messaging, Socket.io, and notifications.
- Validate payment flows and integrations such as Adyen for correctness and edge cases.
- Test AI-assisted features including moderation, search, and voice assistant functionality.
- Verify compliance-related functionality, including GDPR data handling, DSA notice-and-action flows, AI Act transparency labeling, and age-assurance mechanisms.
- Perform regression testing across releases and parallel feature branches.
- Log, track, and prioritize bugs with clear steps to reproduce.
- Work closely with developers to identify, communicate, and resolve issues.
- Conduct cross-platform and cross-browser testing for web and admin applications.
- Test role-based access control across different account types.
- Participate in sprint planning and provide QA estimates and test plans for upcoming features.
- Help establish and maintain QA processes, test documentation, and automated test suites.
- Support UAT cycles ahead of releases and the Mallorca beta launch.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of professional experience in QA/testing.
- Strong understanding of manual testing methodologies, including functional, regression, exploratory, smoke, and sanity testing.
- API testing experience using Postman, Insomnia, or similar tools.
- Experience testing web applications and mobile applications.
- Understanding of REST API concepts and JSON request/response validation.
- Experience with bug tracking and test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, or Linear.
- Basic understanding of databases such as MongoDB or SQL.
- Understanding of client-server architecture and frontend/backend/mobile interactions.
- Ability to write clear, structured test cases and bug reports.
- Basic understanding of Git/version control.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a user-focused approach.

- Performance and load testing experience using JMeter or k6.
