Automation Engineer

Role Overview

At Kyndryl, you will play a critical role in our modernization mission, designing, building, and maintaining high-volume business logic on the mainframe. You will bridge the gap between legacy systems and modern cloud/mobile applications by refactoring code and extracting business logic for migration or integration.

Responsibilities

• Monitor architecture to identify opportunities to optimize code and maintain mainframe performance.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and analyze complex system interactions to ensure mission-critical applications remain operational.
• Extract business logic from legacy systems for migration or integration with cloud-based services.
• Design and implement enterprise-scale automation solutions.
• Build and manage scalable container platforms.
• Design and maintain enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate server provisioning, application deployment, and configuration management.
• Develop reusable automation frameworks, custom modules, and playbooks.
• Integrate enterprise tools and third-party platforms using REST APIs.
• Collaborate with cloud, infrastructure, security, and operations teams.

Requirements

• Proven experience in designing and implementing enterprise-scale automation solutions.
• Experience building and managing scalable container platforms.
• Ability to design and maintain enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong expertise in infrastructure automation and configuration management.
• Proficiency in integrating enterprise applications through REST APIs.
• Strong scripting and automation development skills.
