Full Stack Developer

Role Overview

Join Kyndryl to play a critical role in our modernization mission. You will design, build, and maintain high-volume business logic on the mainframe while refactoring legacy code to enable modern cloud and mobile applications to interact seamlessly with core data.

Responsibilities

• Monitor architecture to identify opportunities to optimize code and maintain mainframe performance.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and analyze complex system interactions to ensure mission-critical applications remain operational.
• Extract business logic from legacy systems for migration or integration with cloud-based services.

Requirements

• Experience working as a software engineer on complex software projects.
• Solid development experience with debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated experience with software development methodologies to build scalable and robust software.
• Proficiency in relational and NoSQL databases, data mapping, XML/JSON, and REST-based web services.
• Knowledge of architecture design including Microservices, containers, and messaging queues.
• Deep understanding of OOP and design patterns.

Nice to Have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Certification in hyperscalers such as Azure, AWS, or Google GCP.
• Experience with DevOps tools and modern engineering practices.
