Job Description
Role Overview
At Kyndryl, you will play a critical role in our modernization mission, designing, building, and maintaining high-volume business logic on the mainframe. You will bridge the gap between legacy systems and modern cloud/mobile applications by refactoring code and enabling seamless data interaction.
Responsibilities
- Monitor architecture to identify optimization opportunities and maintain mainframe performance.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and analyze complex system interactions to ensure mission-critical application stability.
- Extract business logic from legacy systems for migration or integration with cloud-based services.
- Design and develop scalable, robust software using modern methodologies.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a software engineer working on complex software projects.
- Solid development experience with Java, Python, or .Net.
- Proficiency in relational and NoSQL databases, data mapping, XML/JSON, and REST-based web services.
- Knowledge of Microservices architecture, containers (Docker & k8s), and messaging queues.
- Deep understanding of OOP and design patterns.
