Infrastructure Automation Engineer

Role Overview

At Kyndryl, you will play a critical role in our modernization mission, designing, building, and maintaining high-volume business logic on the mainframe while refactoring legacy code to enable seamless interaction with modern cloud and mobile applications. You will be part of a global community of experts driving the future of mainframe modernization.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise-scale automation solutions using Ansible and Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform.
• Build and manage scalable container platforms using Docker and orchestration technologies.
• Design and maintain enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Automate server provisioning, application deployment, configuration management, and operational workflows.
• Develop reusable automation frameworks, custom modules, playbooks, templates, and shared automation libraries.
• Integrate enterprise tools and third-party platforms using REST APIs and web services.
• Create automation standards, governance processes, and best practices.
• Collaborate with cloud, infrastructure, security, and operations teams.
• Troubleshoot complex deployment, integration, and infrastructure issues.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on expertise with Ansible and Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform.
• Extensive experience in infrastructure automation and configuration management.
• Strong knowledge of container technologies and orchestration platforms.
• Advanced experience with Azure DevOps including CI/CD pipeline implementation.
• Experience running test cases for automation validation.
• Proven experience integrating applications through REST APIs.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, and Shell scripting.
