Quality Assurance Engineer

Role Overview

Kyndryl is looking for a Quality Assurance Software Engineer passionate about delivering top-notch cloud-based managed services. You will ensure software products meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance by defining test strategies, specifications, and plans, while working closely with engineering squads to develop and test new features.

Responsibilities

• Define test strategies, specifications, test cases, and test plans based on design documentation.
• Automate test cases to build test suites for regression, scalability, and performance testing.
• Analyze, track, and verify defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Design, develop, and troubleshoot automated test tools, frameworks, and scripts for application and API testing.
• Lead quality engineering discussions and mentor other QA Engineers in debugging and planning.

Requirements

• Experience testing complex software products for large enterprise customers in an Agile environment.
• Deep understanding of QA processes, standards, tools, and technologies.
• Experience delivering complex features for web-based enterprise applications.
• Proven ability to automate UI, CLI, and API testing.
• Practical knowledge in open-source automation tools and frameworks.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaborative communication skills.
