Role Overview

As a Software Engineering - Developer at Kyndryl, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge software solutions. You will implement components based on design documentation and functional programming specifications, ensuring they are documented, unit-tested, and ready for integration. You will have the opportunity to architect solutions, test code, and build CI/CD pipelines to deliver value in a cloud-based managed services environment.

Responsibilities

• Implement identified components using design documentation and functional programming specifications.
• Ensure components are appropriately documented, unit-tested, and ready for integration.
• Architect solutions, test code, and deploy/build CI/CD pipelines.
• Provide work estimates for assigned development tasks.
• Guide features, functional objectives, or technologies for interested parties.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience working as a software engineer on complex software projects.
• Excellent coding skills in Java, Python, or .Net with strong debugging and problem-solving abilities.
• Solid grasp of the software delivery lifecycle and version control using Git and GitHub.
• Experience with data engineering tools such as Pandas and Spark.
• Experience in relational and NoSQL databases, XML/JSON, and REST based web services.
• Deep understanding of OOP and Design patterns.
• Experience with cloud AI platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google AI and distributed computing architectures.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Agentic AI Systems (e.g., LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, or CrewAI).
• Practical knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Certifications in hyperscalers like Azure, AWS, or Google GCP.
• Experience with DevOps tools and modern engineering practices.
