Role Overview
Seeking a software engineer to design, implement, and debug complex distributed architecture systems. The role involves developing tools to accelerate software development, performing root cause analysis on system issues, and ensuring high reliability through built-in diagnostics and test codes.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement tools to accelerate software system development and debug environments
- Participate in and support fixing issues arising from customer sites
- Analyze system scalability, interworking issues, and perform root cause analysis
- Design and implement built-in diagnostics and test codes to improve reliability
- Develop distributed architecture systems with intercommunication
Requirements
- Excellent command over programming languages C and C++
- Strong control over Operating Systems principles including Linux, VxWorks, and QNX
- Experience programming in multi-thread and multi-process environments
- Proficiency with Inter-process communication and Jira
- Knowledge of IP protocols, VLANs, and Ethernet switching
- Experience with physical layer devices such as Serial, Ethernet, 1553, CAN, NMEA, and ModBus
