Associate QA Engineer, Math

Role Overview

At Light & Wonder, the Associate QA Engineer, Math role involves debugging software products through systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards. You will develop, modify, and execute software test plans, automated scripts, and programs for testing, while analyzing test results to ensure existing functionality and recommending corrective action.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and execute simulation code to analyze the math data.
• Review math formulas and math sheet information.
• Develop, review, and execute test plans and test scripts for verifying math data.
• Submit and track any issues found during verification to ensure resolution.
• Utilize required databases for quality assurance and testing.
• Provide detailed Completion Reports and weekly project status reports.
• Interface with Development members to communicate and resolve reported issues.
• Reproduce issues to assist software development in resolution.
• Manage project escalations for assigned projects.

Requirements

• M.Sc / B.Sc. in Statistics or Applied Mathematics.
• Knowledge or experience with Math fundamentals including Statistics and Probability.
• Proficiency with analytical and logical skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment with minimal supervision.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
