Mobile Application Developer – React Native & Android

Role Overview

LincPay is looking for a skilled Mobile Developer to build and maintain React Native applications for merchant payment acceptance and SoftPOS solutions. The role involves working with React Native, Kotlin, Android SDK, NFC, and secure Android technologies.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain React Native applications for merchant payment acceptance.
• Develop native Android modules using Kotlin for NFC, Android Keystore, and background services.
• Implement offline-first features including local storage, sync queues, and conflict handling.
• Integrate SoftPOS SDKs and work with APIs.
• Handle device permissions, push notifications, and deep links.
• Manage Play Store releases, signing, versioning, staged rollouts, and crash troubleshooting.
• Optimize applications for performance on low-end Android devices.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of relevant mobile development experience.
• Strong experience with React Native and TypeScript.
• Good knowledge of Android development using Kotlin or Java.
• Understanding of Android lifecycle, permissions, and background execution.
• Experience with offline-first development and local data persistence.
• Experience consuming REST APIs with proper retry and timeout handling.
• Knowledge of Play Store publishing and release management.
• Experience with Jest, debugging, physical-device testing, and Git.

Preferred Skills

• NFC and contactless card reading.
• Android Keystore, StrongBox, and hardware-backed cryptography.
• Play Integrity or device attestation.
• Payments/SoftPOS/EMV/CPoC/MPoC experience.
• Kotlin Coroutines and Jetpack Compose.
• Flutter or native iOS experience is an advantage.
