AI Systems Lab Developer

Role Overview

Systems AI Lab is looking for proactive, product-minded Developers to build and scale end-to-end web applications and modern AI/systems infrastructure. In this role, you will design, build, and deploy full-stack systems, interactive Single Page Applications (SPAs), and high-throughput real-time architectures. We value hands-on builders who take ownership of features from conception to production deployment.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Development: Design, build, and deploy robust, responsive Single Page Applications (SPAs) and full-stack web platforms.
• Real-Time & Distributed Systems: Implement messaging pipelines, caching layers, and real-time synchronization features (e.g., WebSockets, event streaming, real-time collaboration).
• API & Backend Architecture: Develop scalable backend services, RESTful APIs, and event-driven microservices.
• Deployment & Infrastructure: Manage application deployments, containerized environments, and cloud infrastructure.
• Collaboration & Quality: Write clean, maintainable code, test APIs, document technical architectures, and take full ownership of shipped features.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency with React, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS.
• Experience with Node.js, Bun, and serverless/edge environments.
• Proven track record of building and deploying complete Single Page Applications end-to-end.
• Hands-on experience with relational/document databases and in-memory caches such as Redis, Memcached, Supabase, or Amazon DocumentDB.
• Practical experience with OpenAPI / REST specs and Postman.
• Familiarity with modern hosting platforms (e.g., Vercel) and container orchestration (Docker / Kubernetes).
